CARY, N.C. (May 12, 2009) — S&A Cherokee has announced that Executive Vice President Chuck Norman, APR won a 40 under 40 Leadership Award from Triangle Business Journal. Norman, along with 39 other leaders, was honored with the award at a gala Friday, May 1 at the Crabtree Marriott in Raleigh.

To qualify, recipients under the age of 40 must have attained leadership roles in their organization, achieved a significant career milestone in 2008, and had substantial involvement in community service.

"Norman's strong work ethic and substantial community involvement have been prominent over the years he's worked for S&A Cherokee," said Ron Smith, president of S&A Cherokee. "We are privileged to have him as a team leader and congratulate him on his success in winning this prestigious award."

Norman will continue to focus on S&A Cherokee's public relations, marketing and event planning initiatives. Since joining the company in 2003, he has helped build a thriving public relations department which serves a variety of local, statewide and national clients.
