CARY, N.C. (April 28, 2008) – S&A Cherokee has announced that Erin Walker and Jessica Padgett have joined the company as graphic designers, Jonathan Fredin as the chief photographer and Peggy Johnson as an administrative assistant at S&A Cherokee’s Garner office.

Prior to joining S&A Cherokee, Walker worked for a company in Raleigh, N.C., that specialized in web design. She went ECU for about three years and transferred to The School of Communication Arts in Raleigh, where she graduated with a degree in digital art. Walker is from Greenville, N.C., and has lived here for about 4 years.

Padgett graduated from North Carolina State University in May of 2006 with a degree in graphic design. She previously worked for Kelly Marcom for almost two years, where she worked for clients such as The V Foundation for Cancer Research, PPD, Capital Bank and This End Up Furniture Company. Padgett currently lives in Holly Springs, but is originally from Lenoir, N.C., where the rest of her family still lives.

As the chief photographer, Fredin earned his bachelor of science degree in print journalism from Florida Southern College. He has worked for numerous newspapers as a writer, photographer and editor. Upon moving to Raleigh two years ago, Fredin worked as freelance photographer for various news organizations, including the Associated Press and the New York Times.

Johnson is the administrative assistant for S&A Cherokee’s Garner office. She graduated from UNC-Greensboro and Hardbarger Business College. She comes to us from, Raleigh Surgical Group, where she worked full time for the past 24 years. Johnson is originally from Weldon, N.C., and has been married and living in the Garner/Raleigh area for the past 26 years.
